Catholics are urged to confess their sins to a priest in the sacrament of Penance frequently as a way of growing in holiness and virtue. Even if penitents are conscious of only venial sin, they should still have recourse to the sacrament of  Penance, because it is the ordinary means of obtaining God’s merciful forgiveness for any sins committed after Baptism.
The following are necessary to receive the full merits of the sacrament:  honest examination of conscience, true contrition of sins, and a sincere resolution to make amends.

Reconciliation is celebrated every Saturday from 4:45 pm to 5:15 pm, and on any other day upon request.

Every parishioner is encouraged to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation in preparation for the two major feasts of the liturgical year, namely, Christmas and Easter.  During the liturgical seasons of Advent and Lent (which prepare for these feasts) special reconciliation services are scheduled for all parishioners.
